Kat rested her head against Julia's shoulder feeling greatly relieved as seh
hugged the woman back fiercely. At least she didn't seem to be in trouble,
which was good. "Where's my mom," she asked suddenly realizing she hadn't
seen her in a while.
Derek:
Derek gave Julia an encourage smile and then turned his attention to Ingrid.
"That's good, did you get any rest?" He wouldn't put it past his sister to
sit up all night watching just to make sure Kat was sleeping. "Would you
mind taking Kat out for the day? To the zoo and where ever else you think
is appropriate."
