Kat:
"Tell my mom I love her," Kat said and scurried off to get dressed.  Have a
good time, yeah right, she thought.  How were you supposed to have a good
time when you had a "talk" to look forward too when you got back.  It was
clearly just some form of medievil tortures adults had devised to see how
miserable they could make kids.

Derek:
"We will be," he assured Ingrid as he stood to go.  He walked downstairs,
stopping to slip on his jacket and then headed out to the car.  He pulled
the keys out and handed them over to Julia without any fuss, knowing that
soon he would no longer need to worry about the safety of his automobile.
