"Tell my mom I love her," Kat said and scurried off to get dressed.
"I will." Julia promised, not missing the expression she had as she went to
go get changed. Then she stood and, after hugging and thanking Ingrid, went
with Derek.
She actually blinked with slight surprise when Derek handed her the keys,
teasing him as they got in and fastened their seatbelts "You feeling all
right? Not feverish or anything?"
She couldn't help it and her blue eyes showed the humor she was feeling at
ribbing him a little. She put the keys in the ignition but didn't turn
them, looking at him instead.
