"I'm not too sure about that vampire part-we've heard too many legends that
were supposed to be true, but that's all they were-legends." Frowning
slightly, "Where's Brady? If the guy who's after you two is here, then we
should make some plans." Chewing on her bottom lip, a plan for getting them
all safely away from Egypt started to form in her head. Her gaze drifted
back to the table, and the artifact sitting there. She had the unwelcome
sense that it was waiting for something or perhaps somebody.
"It's more than a legend." Claire assured her solemnly "There was writing on
the wall, literally, telling about this artifact and the curse that goes
with it."
She then looked at the door and then back at Kristen "He... he went to go
see the body."
"Our friend was killed right after he sent this to us. The local
authorities have been trying to cover it up but the body... we got word that
there wasn't any blood left in the body when it was found. He's sneaking in
to the morgue to find out."
