Just then there was a knock on the door and Claire went to go answer it,
being as careful as she was with Kristen before letting Brady in.
"We have to get out of here now." Brady told them without hesitation "The
guy's been asking about us in the local taverns."
He didn't question who or why Kristen was there, trusting Claire. He nodded
at the woman once before moving to gather their bags and things.
Claire turned to the artifact and carefully repacked it before putting it in
a duffle bag she had been using to carrying it.
NM:
Kristen turned at the sound of the knock on the door. She watched as
Claire let the man in, assuming he must be Brady. As he spoke, Kristen felt
the fear in the room build as she had her suspicians about the couple's
stalker were confirmed. She agreed with Brady that they had to leave at
once, but neither he nor Claire seemed to have any plans beyond just getting
out. She stood and turned to Brady, "Do you have any idea who this guy is?
Or where you plan on going next?"
