"How long has Brady been gone? If you're right and the guy who killed your
friend has already tracked you two here, it probably won't take him too long
to find the motel..." she trailed off, remembering close 'escapes' in the
past and hoping that this wouldn't be one of them.
Just then there was a knock on the door and Claire went to go answer it,
being as careful as she was with Kristen before letting Brady in.
"We have to get out of here now." Brady told them without hesitation "The
guy's been asking about us in the local taverns."
He didn't question who or why Kristen was there, trusting Claire. He nodded
at the woman once before moving to gather their bags and things.
Claire turned to the artifact and carefully repacked it before putting it in
a duffle bag she had been using to carrying it.
