Derek paused and looked at her for moment, his fork in mid air above his
plate.

"That job is probably pretty boring anyway," he said smiling at her. "I'm
certain we can finding something more interesting for you to fall back on,
if you like."


Julia returned the smile before broaching the subject more seriously
"Actually, speaking of falling back on and work, what exactly am I now?"

"And," she added, wondering if it would surprise him that she didn't want to
be in the middle of things like she used to be "I don't want head of
security back, whether it came up or not as a possibility."
