Derek did smile at that. "I'll get you a dictaphone," he told her. "That
paperwork is piled up further than the other, you'd be busy for months on
end." He was glad that she wouldn't let the council pack her off so easily,
of course they might have something to say aobut that too if push came to
shove, but he would stand behind her.
