Derek hesitated for a moment. "Someone has been stalking Katherine's
mother," he explained. "I believe his name is Raymond Massey. He was a
patient of Dr. Corrigan's." He wasn't sure he should be telling them this,
but he'd technically reported it to Frank already and at this point they
needed all the help they could get.
Derek was distracted by the office questioning him. However, he did notice
when Julia bumped into him and he took the first opportunity he could get to
turn and maneuver himself to Julia's side, placing himself firmly between
her and the man flinging accusations her way. "What is this all about," he
demanded.
The Officer was already on a shoulder CB when the scuffle happened and
therefore couldn't do anything, right in the middle of getting in touch with
headquarters to find out about a report lodged about a stalker on the name
Mister Rayne had given him."
James Ellison looked at the newest face, his jaw clenching "Move on, this
doesn't concern you. I was talking to the lady here."
"Jim.." Sandburg tried to calm his friend down, looking between the woman
and then man now standing beside her. He was picking up the protective vibe
and had a feeling it did 'concern' him "We're in the middle of another
emergency here -"
Julia's chin lifted and gaze met the irate out of town cop's without
flinching as she moved to stand next to Derek "You would have better luck
going to where she was staying while she was here."
Jim's eyes narrowed "So you know she's gone then?"
He took a step toward her.
