Derek's fists were knotted so tightly that his knuckles were turning white.
The trouble was that he knew Sloan was right. His stomach churned inside as
the rest of him seethed.
"So, that's you're solution? We just all pretend that the relationship
never existed? That's all very well, William, but what are we supposed to
do if they discover that she's pregnant," Derek demanded, the vein in his
temple throbbing. He was worried now, not just about himself and Julia, but
the baby. What would Cross and the others do or try if they found that out.
And medical tests would surely show it.
Sloan blinked. Not once, not twice, but three times. Blinked and looked at
Derek a full moment before speaking, a new weight on his shoulders
"Pregnant? Julia's pregnant?"
