Derek flushed, more out of anger than embarrassment.  "She has her own
room," he objected.  "She asked me to move her shortly after she returned."
This was the truth and though some of her things were in Derek's room and
that was where she stayed, some of her belongs still remained in the room
across the hall.  And damn it, where she slept was really none of the
council's business.  They wouldn't be staying at his house anyway, he
wouldn't have it.
