"Mine," Derek said easily. He opened the passenger side door for her and
closed it after she was safely inside. Then he got into the drivers side
and headed for the ferry.
"Is there anything you need while we're out? I have a few errands to run
after we go to City Hall, in the Market Street area." He pulled onto the
ferry which arrived only moments after they reached the landing and turned
to look at her. He had a plan, several actually.
Since Julia had just taken a physical it would just be a matter of giving
them the paperwork and hooking them up with records to verify so Julia
figured she would probably be out before Derek. But that didn't mean she
was going go sit on a bench. She smiled to herself and then looked at Derek
"I'll look around. I need something for the dress."
She had already had the dress picked out and needed something to finish it
off. And, although she wasn't telling Derek, she wanted to look for
something else too.
So she settled back and enjoyed the ride, hoping what she had in mind was
there.
