"Sure," Kat agreed happily. "Ive never saw a new baby in a tummy before."
She thought that owuld be pretty interesting, though she wondered how they
got the camera down there ot take a picture.
She gave Julia's stomach an serious look as she pondered the idea.
"Neither have I." Julia admitted as she explained the process as best she
could, even using hand gestures to describe it "But they have this small
thing about this big, and they put lotion on the mother's stomach and roll
it around until they see the baby on a monitor that looks like a tv but
doesn't have the cool shows. Just a black and white image of what the
baby's doing at the time."
Rachel chuckled and looked at Derek before whispering "I think she'll make a
great mom."
Then she mock whapped him on the arm "And keeping secrets like this from all
of us. Ooh and you know I have to ask this.. a little payback for that
proceedure you have and seem to enjoy so much.."
She grinned so it was obvious she meant it all in jest "But did you do a
background check on her before you started seeing her?"
She kept her voice low enough so that onlly Derek heard her as she looked
back at Kat and Julia discussing baby tummy pictures.
"You could ask your mom a little later when I really start to show to see if
you can come and see them actually taking the picture." Julia suggested.
