Please consider: there are at least three reasons for uploading a script; rather than being in conflict, those three goals can complement each other.
[1] to provide a consumer object (similar to buying a VCR which one could not possibly create at home, nor customise) [2] to provide a starting point which can then be customised and added to, to suit each user's needs and taste. [3] to provide an example of how things can be done, so the user can then apply the same techniques in another thing of their own design. To fulfill all three at the same time, it's better to upload scripts which are simple and easily understood, provided the simpler script does the same job. Then the user is more likely to think "Hey, I could do that" rather than "How clever! I wish I could do that."
