I have a new laptop running vista 64, and am trying to get powerpro running on it. I set up my normal configuration, which has a bar with the position set to "taskbar". On win2K and winxp, this means the ppro bar is at the left end of the task bar, just to the right of the start button. When I do the same thing on my vista 64 machine, the ppro bar shows up at the left end of the notification tray (right end of task bar), covering some of the icons in the tray. Worse, the task bar buttons (the normal windows buttons you click on to switch applications) disappear. To get them back, I had to set the ppro bar to floating position, then set the task bar to auto-hide, wait until it went hidden, then bring the task bar back (and turn off auto-hide).
I suspect this means I can't use the "taskbar" position under vista 64, but if anyone has any other suggestions... Thanks, Chris
