I am not sure how much PowerPro functionality you lose by not running as admin. If you have time to experiment, I would be interested. First, you must install so that all the configuration files are _not_ stored in the program files folder. There is a checkbox on the folder tab of the installation wizard that puts the configuration files in the user application folder. Make sure you use also use the shortcuts created by the installation program to access PowerPro since they will reference this folder. After install, you can copy any existing pproconf.pcf to this folder. Make sure the install is not running as admin. Some things to try if you have time - mouse based hot keys - keyboard hot keys - tap hot keys - bumping side of screen to show hidden bar - macros - have a *keys to send sa "abc" attached to a button. Start notepad so it is active, then press the button. Do the keys get sent (this requires PowerPro to be able to see that Notepad is active when the button is pressed).
