The trackpad buttons on the 5300/190 & 3400 are identical, so far as I can tell, though Apple lists them with different part numbers. They have a couple weak points where the plastic ages and breaks. I've had both versions, and tried them in both model PBs, and they seem to be interchangeable - which would make sense, as the 3400 is really the 5300 redesigned with room for a CD-ROM (and other improvements). Sun Remarketing sells the 5300 version for $7, the 3400 version for $9; they have a $10 minimum, so either would be $10 plus shipping unless you buy something else with it. I have several of the 3400 version (Apple part #922-2702), and will send you one for $10 postpaid (within US) if you want. Contact off-list.
