Here's more info on those floppy images: "Its primary goal is to flashback the internal drive ROM to fix the startup status of finder waiting. This software comes directly from Apple and is only good for Apple ATA ROM drives. In the same directory on the Apple FTP site there are others (for different drives that have the possibility of malfonctionning due to a defect in the ROM code)."
