<Will 8.1 support partitions as large as 2GB?>

Well, I have 8.1 and used Drive Setup to format a 2GB HD, and got 1.9GB 
out of it (I didn't have any reason to make separate partitions), so if 
you have a bigger HD I don't see why not. In my experience, Drive Setup 
read the size of that HD and "asked" about partition size. Of course 
since my HD was "only" 2GB, had I chosen to partition it, the partitions 
would be smaller. But since I didn't, it gave me one "big partition" of 
1.9GB. So I think if you have a larger HD, you can get 1.9 GB at least 
per partition. That's close enough to 2, isn't it?  ;-)
