The batteries are universal in all Mac DTs. They are 1/2 AA, 3.6 V batteries. Yes, they are available at Radio Shack. They can be a little pricey, but considering then last 8-10 years, it's not so bad. I think they are in the $3.50 to $4.50 range. Be careful, I heard of one Radio Shack guy charging like $15 once he found out from the customer that he was buying it for a computer (a Mac).
FYI, they're now priced $12.99 at the Shack.
However, I had Radio Shack test my old battery that I brought in with me, and it had the same voltage coming out of it as a brand new battery (3.7 volts)! So I saved the $13 and am going to go back and pull out RAM and other stuff until I figure out what the problem is. :-)
