Remove the address book temporarily. If that doesn't help, create a new environment to move the rebuilt DB to and/or delete the "PowerMail Prefs" and "com.ctmdev.PowerMail.plist" files in ~/Library/Preferences as well as "User Prefs" in the PowerMail files folder.
