I've run Drive 10's utility on my 60GB disk in my 17" PowerBook. It took about 8 hours. I had no system problems, but I noticed no difference in performance. You know, it may be faster (no, it WILL be faster) to do a full backup with Retrospect, reformat the hard disk in question, then reinstall the backup. That should make things as optimized as physically possible, and you get a backup in the process! --- Scott T. Hards President HobbyLink Japan (www.hlj.com)
