I would say the best route is to leave all e-mail addresses completely out.
- First and obviously, it eliminates the spammer problem.
- Second, some addresses may have changed since the time they were
used and thus be of no use to people viewing the archive who
legitimately want to use them to contact about specifics.
(Depending on the version, they may not even remember anything
further about it... I sure don't. :)
- Third, if people want further refinement on a problem, they can join
the current mailing list and ask it there. There should be an easy
to find link to CTM's website where they can sign up for that.

Ask. They added Tim Lisauskas' PowerMail FAQ link to their own FAQ page,
along with links to AppleScript archives when these things got going.
