From an HI design standpoint, I think that requiring use of the mouse
negates the usefulness of the beginning key shortcut, but okay.

I suppose.  I would figure the lack of an up to date manual would be a
bigger astonishment for a new user, but that's been hashed to death and
CTM have had plenty of opportunity to do something about it.

Fair enough -- except OS X's file dialog is awkward and convoluted, but
that's a different issue... :)
