This is a very good tip of course, but on my 266/G3 it's too slow. At least with folders and if I don't have folders to subdivide large amounts of aliases, I might as well put it all in the dock. The dock is quite fast ususally, but for some reason a lot of menus, also the modem menu, takes too long time to display. I certainly need more RAM, that's for sure. And talking about the OS X file dialogs, I'd like some decent shortcuts there, thank you. 10.3?
