The point is of course I'll get the window directly, THEN I've to use the
mouse. To me that's a big difference. I also find the inconsistency
annoying, and if it annoys me it may annoy other potential users as well
= less people turn over to PowerMail.

The point is also *other* emailers have this feature. I have already
decided that PM is "my" emailer. I can live with these minor annoyances
compared to some real big ones in the competition. Nevertheless, I think
it's important to keep nagging CTM about features/lack of features we
find less than optimal, as I find it in my own best "long term" interest
if PowerMail thrives and get more and more users. To us who have already
"converted" one or two of these imperfections aren't the whole world. But
it could make the difference for the person who is running a trial version.

Haven't you ever dumped a software after 10 secs just because you didn't
find that particular feature you were used to? Saying "crap software"
without mercy, never to open it again? I have for sure...

Yes, of course I could. But if you already have 6-7 Finder windows open
plus ditto many from different apps you sometimes find it easier to use
the emailers attach feature. Same if you are to attach 10 files from 10
different network volumes -- you might just find it neater to do that
from within the emailer.
