Fermi is conducting a "Quick Hit" Benchmarking survey and request information from other facilities to the following questions: (1) Does your facility use "Trip Tickets" to access the RRA/RCA? Yes If so, A) How many levels or types of tickets based on type of work or activity to be performed are used? 2, RCA, HRA (white) & LHRA (yellow) B) What type of radiological briefing is given for each level, (for example self-briefed or RP briefed)? Worker required to stop by RCC window for general entry minimum to get current radiological information or prove they have they know they current radiological conditions. If HRA card has to be initialed by RP performing brief. Backshift and weekends RP attends OPS turnover meeting and gives them the required information. LHRA requires formal briefing RCA entry (trip) card designated by yellow color and signed by briefing RP technician prior to allowed entry. (2) How are work control and the "dose budget" integrated into the RRA/RCA access process? Personnel are required by schedule or by information given by RP or ALARA a dose goal for entry. Workers required to stop by RP window at each exit and report dose received or even if 0. A) How is the dose budget maintained and updated? Tracked by using corporate “web tools” which access data in Passport Total Exposure.
