Subject: [powernet] RE: Whole Body Counting Benchmark

Hi Linda,

I think your referring to exit analytical whole body counting as opposed to
exit passive whole body counting because both are considered whole body
counting for internal activity.

At Surry, normal RCA and RA (aka Protected Area) passive whole body counting
satisfies the requirement for both exit and annual whole body counts.

Yes, we have special documentation for passive whole body counting. In
accordance with ANI Engineering Inspection Criteria Section 8.5, Revision 5, an
internal sensitivity study was conducted for each make and model of Personnel
Contamination Monitor (PCM) / Personal Monitor (PM) used at the station to take
credit for passive whole body counting.
