(regarding tony harrisons comments) "So far, impressed but finding it
difficult to get the focus right - autofocus sensors seem to be off,
and the finder image is so small that focussing in dim light is
tricky."
I have used our S2 on a few shoots now and although initially
impressed, some of the the observations stated (as above) from other
users are unfortunately sounding familiar...
The auto-focus is really not up to the job at all, fortunately the
first time this became crucial, it was just a matter of switching to
manual and was not a problem and I did a dumb thing and forgot about
it...
Then a juicy celeb pap shoot came up at Heathrow 3 am and the S2 may
as well have been a pinhole camera.
It refused to focus at all, and because of the dim light conditions,
I could not even switch to manual (It felt as if looking through the
viewfinder was 2 stops darker than ambient light) . I ended up
having to race back to the car and shoot on a F100 backup on neg and
go through hell getting scans to wire out etc etc
Fuji have said they will have a look and get it sorted so we will see
what happens....
Has anyone else experienced anything like this as fuji claim I am the
first person to have mentioned this ( ha ha ha good one fellas)
