Can't say I understood Mark's problem but as far as I can tell, all the medium chipped DSLR's have about the same sized viewfinder image and I can't see how the others can auto focus in dim light while the S2 can't. Do the D60 and the D100 use a different system to find the focus point in dim light? My understanding is they use the same system as the S2, which fires a focus assist light to illuminate the subject. Mark, under what circumstances exactly can't you put the S2 on manual focus? Prewarned is prearmed, as they say. I had to look twice for the M setting for manual focus as, for some weird reason, Fuji decided not to etch it in white. The Nikon body that Fuji use is a bit dated whereas the D100 body is much nicer to look at from the front and also has the M, S, C markings clearly visible. --/ Shangara Singh http://www.e-pixel.co.uk Adobe Certified Expert ~ Photoshop 7.0 PortfoliosOnCD for Photographers http://www.portfoliosoncd.com =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
