Sorry if I have dredged up the oldest debate in the book. I will not be abandoning my MAC either - although most of my work goes through my machine at some point, I am still shooting mostly film and have yet to need to process the volume of digital images where machine speed is the most critical factor. My images receive minimal digital post before being filed to the client. I think this review was interesting because there are many on this who need a lot of pace from their machine as they are crunching big numbers all day and the MAC only starts to match this Alien 3gb RAM monster thing (or what ever galbraith used) when running apps which are dual processor aware - like PS. But the again there'll be a new mac out again in a minute and they will nose ahead once more...
