The under laying technology behind Quartz and Colorsync is operating system level and not application dependant as Windows 2000 or XP. Although the Mac has a problem with motivating Motorola, the speed difference albeit slower is a much more elegant choice, without the constant threat of virus invasion, all along being usable for all things. For a multi-tasking, or simply stable system with design, imagery, and publication in mind the MacOS X is a very good choice indeed. -- Neil Snape http://mapage.noos.fr/nsnape
