With a 1Ds I would think a 512MB card would be on the small side, if you are shooting RAW. I feel 'happy' with about 65-70 shots on a card this gives a good number of shots before the card is full. Therefore 1GB cards would be my card of choice with a 1Ds or the Kodak 14n. 512MB is just too small, and would force you to swap cards more often, and as swapping cards is when problems are caused, if you leave the power on, or remove a card before the buffer is empty, as examples. you could be increasing the risk with smaller cards. Also Powerinnumbers seems to offer the best price with a quality service of any company in the world. Even USA buyers seem to shop in Australia.
