I am just completing a new open plan space that will be used for the
following:

One end will be photographic studio.

The other end will be my workstation/office space, with the printer
in the middle, closer to my desk. The workstation obviously is to be
used for colour work, and the lighting is all to be 5000k Ott-lite.

I had thought to just take the Gretag colorchecker card to the paint
store, to get them to read the middle grey and mix the paint from
that, but the thought of a completely grey room - ceiling and walls
with grey laminated floor - is a bit depressing.

What do others use for the paint colour in their studios/workspaces?
Is white an option?

Any suggestions would be welcome!

Thanks,

Ellie

This was sent to the Graphics Cafe list, so apologies for any who
have received it twice.
