>>What do others use for the paint colour in their studios/workspaces? Is white an option? <<
What a good question. I just moved into a new studio and I'm considering what to do about the paint in the shooting area. My old studio was all white and boy was it ever convenient to just be able to aim lights at the walls and ceilings instead of setting up a lot of softboxes and umbrellas or whatever. But then you get into the problem of reflections when you don't want them. I think the optimum depends on what type of work you do. I still haven't decided what to do. I'm leaning toward going with white again and getting a lot of giant black foam core sheets to block out light when I don't want it. But it's a tough decision that I know I'll have to live with for years.
