Dear Richard

This is where having big storage disks comes in useful. Simply copy the files onto another disk, or into another folder, and open from there. That means that your second folder is your default.

When dealing with batches of Tiffs I usually open several at once, enough to last me in retouching till the next coffee break.

I'm using OSX and 7.0.1. Is there a way that when pressing Apple-S that a

At the moment the default folder for saving is the one containing the
original file, so I have to constantly select the folder I want to save them
in from the pull down menu.

After 200 files, this is becoming a little tedious and I can feel the RSI
coming on again...

Any advice gratefully received.

Many thanks
