Possibly not totally on topic (and I am List Mum this week) but as others may have a similar problem -
For what it's worth - my 1Gbit/sec NTL cable service has been REALLY slow today web wise - though mail has been fine. I've no idea if there's a problem somewhere on the net but from past experience I will wait till tomorrow and see what transpires. If your mail is OK it's not a basic connection problem.
