Interesting read but note

The CCD imaging area fits the 6x4.5 lens coverage. Focal length needs
minimal conversion, thus lens perspective usage is the same as with film.
The 3:4 classic photographic ratio is efficient and minimizes cropping.

Now either it covers the 6.45 image or it does not.

If it does Focal length conversion is zero, not minimal  !!
