James, In the package of software that came with the camera you should have a time limited copy of Nikon Capture Control ver3. If you load that you should then have the necessary software to open the raw files. Well that is how I did it anyway. Anyone else have any other suggestions? By the way, Capture Control costs about �120 if you want to buy it.
