Hope this is not too far off topic:
I've just installed a CD-RW (W2K) everything's fine except for when I insert
an autorun CD. It fires up when a CD's inserted but then says "insert CD
into the drive". If I right click the CD drive and 'explore it' there's the
program and the autorun.exe but if clicked it still asks me to insert the
CD. If I put in a software CD it fires up, starts to load but then just
hangs and I have to alt/ctrl/del to get out.
Is there a fault with the drive or is there some way of getting it to
recognise the autorun?
I'd be grateful for any advice which will hopefully save me replacing it.
Best regards,
NeilC
