My advice is to start in the kitchen - a bit of Fairy Liquid works fine for me, kind to screens and kind to hands. Also beware of "all purpose" computer cleaners. One place I work has a couple of screens with permanent smears etched into the screen coating from day one by overenthusiastic application of some sort of wonder cleaning aerosol.
