Welcome to the list!
I have had my 1Ds for a month now and it has transformed the way I work. I have been shooting digitally for nearly four years with a medium format/large format based digital back, which still has it's uses, but the 1Ds has freed me to go back to the hand held snappy method (!) with the advantages of digital AND at FULL frame - which has always been a bug-bear for me on previous bodies.
Others on the list may have had a different experience to me, but I cannot fault the 1Ds. Beautifully thought out, robust build, easy to use...picture quality is stunning! Software leaves a bit to be desired, but I'm holding out for Photoshop CS to process my RAW files.
Hope this helps. Any specific questions, please feel free to ask.
Kind regards,
Tim.

At the moment we are considering the purchase of a Canon EOS 1Ds digital camera which will be used for studio projects as well as for shoots on locations such as the interior of labs, hospitals etc. I was wondering if anybody on the list has had any particular negative experience with this camera. I apologise in advance if this subject has been already treated before.
