Yippee! ADSL is finally coming to my neck of the woods.

Take a look at www.pipex.com - I've been with them for years and they have been superb. Technical support are up on mac too. Their standard Xtreme 500 (I think it's called) works for me 512kb download 50:1 contention ratio, although there are not that many business round here so in real terms I may be getting a better contention ratio than that.
For networking, get yourself an ADSL router and Apple Airport. You'll love being able to surf the net at break-neck speeds in your garden!!
