Russell, point well made that this whole issue is subject to so many variables and is so subjective that the only real way foward is to do your own experiments and find a combination that suits your own way of working and standards. Perhaps the greatest benefit of this discussion has been to highlight that very point! A question on your comment above, though: Do you mean that you set PS so that the file size stays the same regardless of the image dimensions and it is just the resolution that changes? If so, how do you do that!
