Neil, That was exactly my concern. I'm sure that a 2.4 turbo diesel isn't going to worry about being used as a generator for a bit, and I'm sure that a big inverter can handle watts-a-plenty. Its really that flimsy bit in between that makes me worry about the 'fire' clause in my car insurance!
