I just had a look at the B&H Photo's site in NY 
and they are offering the 14n for $2495. At 
yesterday's exchange rate that worked out as 
�1318.78, little more than the price of a Nikon 
D100 here. That included the 512MB Buffer Memory.

Even taking in to account the problems that some 
people have been complaining about (and which can 
be improved upon every few weeks with firmware 
updates), that's one he** of a price for a 'full 
frame' body. And it can still be upgraded with 
the latest imaging sensor if you wish.

The original 14n is currently advertised by NYC 
dealers at under $3k, which at current exchange 
rates is under >�1.6k; buy one there, get the 
upgrade to the new sensor (etc) for $1.5k, save 
money...
