Dear Brian, I think you misinterpreted B&H's words, since all they were asking was a photocopy of the credit card make and did not involve calling teh CC company at all. They do this with all international transactions and once they have the fax on file, they never request it again, unless you want to use another CC and then the procedures has to be redone.
