Shangara,

I have to accept responsibility for calling it an "instant rebate" rather than Kodak's Off-Invoice rebate. Though that term has had people confused because they thought it was a "mail-in rebate"
As I'm in the UK I'm not sure who "enforces misleading pricing" in the US, but I'm sure they should not be enforcing it but trying to prevent it :-)

A colleague in the US has just made an online purchase of the 14n at the price stated and as soon as the transaction is confirmed he is going to call up and ask that the $1000.00 be deducted from the invoice !
I'm leaving for LA in the morning and will keep the list posted on the outcome.

I'm waiting for a reply to an e-mail I sent to B & H regarding their recent statement that they are no longer accepting Visa or Mastercard payments from UK customers as I've never had any problems with them in the past and was intending to place quite a large order with them on this trip

I had a feeling it was the Kodak discount as the expiry dates were almost
identical, bar one day. However, Kodak don't call it Instant Rebate but an
Off-Invoice Discount. Don't you guys have anyone enforcing misleading
pricing?

Also, I do think B & H are remiss in not mentioning the fact that their
price included the Off-Invoice Discount. Again, if you are going to sell
abroad, it's your duty to be clear and not mislead all visitors. I'm sure
they would clarify at the point of sale but they should really do it up
front.

As I said, to good to be true?....
