Can some kind soul remind me how to automatically create a new document exactly the same size as an open document?
Fernand mentions the standard way for Photoshop version 7:
- Command N then go to the "window" menu and then (Document) to the name of the pict(ure) you are targeting.
All this happens whilst still having the File/New dialog open - just a point.
For those wondering what has happened to that functionality in Photoshop CS, just scroll down past all the additional sizes in the New menu to the bottom, where all the open documents are listed.
So now the action all takes place within the single dialog box.
Just a piece of extra info for you, Simon for when you go to Photoshop CS!
