Hi Simon If you're working from a fixed point most of the time then obviously some form of broadband is the way to go. I also occasionally need to dial in to the web remotely, and set up an account with uk2.net, which is a pay as you go thing, so you just dial in and pay an (I think) 0845 charge on the call for its duration. For the amount I use it, its ideal, tho' if you're doing more something more robust with monthly charges might be better. Works for me tho'. Also, I think it'd be easy to use with a pda if you were into that sort of thing...
